My group and I were in Tobago for about a week to do some windsurfing. On a day with very little wind we decided to explore the Island in search of some lunch. We accidentally discovered the Kings Bay Cafe when driving to Speyside and after driving past them and seeing their view, we turned around to see what the menu was like.

Upon walking in we were greeted by the most amazing views of Kings Bay and the wonderful aroma of fresh fish. The owner's were very plesant and greeted us very warmly. They took the time to explain the menu to us and then took our orders. About 20 minutes later I had the best piece of Wahoo I have ever tasted and an out of this world Tuna burger.

I have read the two terrible reviews of this Cafe and they must be confused with another establishment. There is no way the Kings Bay Cafe deserves any less than 5 stars and an excellent review. My group and I talked about this as being the best meal we had on vacation and could not stop raving about the food and the experience on the way back to the states. We will definitely be coming to Tobago again soon and plan on making the Kings Bay Cafe a regular part of our vacation.

We had seen the trpadvisor reviews on the kings bay café but didn't actually intend to go there during our stay. We stumbled across it after visiting the Argyle falls and what a lovely find it was! It was slightly rainy on the day we were there, and one table was already occupied when we arrived, however the owners were very wuick to move us to a more sheltered table as soon as the rain started getting us wet. The menú is simple but delicious. The owners took the time to come to chat to us to tell us a bit about their story and we loved the lunch with the homemade coleslaw and hot sauce. A further table of brits came in whilst we were eating (so 3 out of the 4 tables o the terrace were occupied) and although we didn't try it ourselves, their coffee and brownies looked lovely.
We definitely plan on going back to Tobago after habing fallen in love with the island and will certainly be visiting the kings bay café again

It is hard to say which is better, the view of King's Bay or the food served at this little cafe. The owner is a bit hissy, but he knows how to cook fresh, local ingredients. We enjoyed a birthday lunch on the veranda and would definitely stop here again.

We went here for a group dinner our last night in Tobago and have a terrific time and wonderfully delicious food. It is a very small restaurant and so our group of 6 were the only patrons and so we received wonderful, personalized service and had the only table out on the balcony. They don't serve alcohol but allow you to bring your own in from the liquor store across the street and will supply you with whatever mixer you desire. It was by far the best meal I had during our stay on Tobago.

We visited today for lunch. We booked a table as advised but were early - not a problem luckily. The food is simple, good value for money and very well cooked. The service is excellent and friendly. The view is amazing. The place is tiny but well decorated and very, very clean. Will we visit again next time we are in Tobago? Absolutely!
