Don't go to Tobago and not visit this beach, the day we went it was quite, being part of the Buccoo reef the sea is calm and the sea colour needs to be seen to be believed. It may be a tourist attraction for the island but it was not commercialised as I thought it would be. A most enjoyable day out. A must to do.

Beautiful gardens, busy but nicely social beach area. You pay for entry to the park and sun loungers (TT$50 per person) but then can soak up the sun, watch the kite and wind surfers, hire a jet ski, or go on a glass bottom boat tour to Buccoo Reef for a snorkel and then Nylon Pool for a swim and exfoliation!!! Pleasant way to spend the day. A few eateries around, slightly inflated prices, but no more than you would expect for a tourist contained location. Safe swimming and lovely blue water. We are normally 'pool' people but the entertainment, chat and social observations made this much more fun. ENJOY

Brilliant beach with reasonable price admission 3USD and 5 for a cushioned sun lounger and 3 for a plastic one:)

The drinks were so reasonable! Try the banana fanta;)

The potato wedges at 3USD were awesome and the sauces in particular the garlic mayo and BBQ were wicked!

Plenty of reasonably priced things to do too with boat trips and jet skis and the pub on site serves food too... It has great free wifi and shows English live footie;)

Do not miss this wonderful beach!

It's paradise!!!

Here's the info:

$20 (TTD)- entrance fee and you are given a wristband to wear.

$20 (TTD)- for a white beach chair (plastic) and also given a wristband to wear.

$30 (TTD)- for a coloured chair (cloth) and wristband.

There are little shops on the beach but I found that the prices were a bit much.
There are bars and places to buy food. We carried our own liquor and food. The later you go the more crowded it gets.
Yes there are LOTS of stones in the water. Beach shoes is a must. You'll thank me later ;-)

I get to Tobago (from Australia) about once every two years to visit a friend who lives in Trinidad. This beach has become a huge motivation for me to get there every time. Every time I swim at this beach I literally feel the stress wash away, it is worth working hard for two years to get there and have that feeling. A magic and truly therapeutic place on earth.
