“Peaceful Paradise”
Reviewed November 11, 2013

This beach is one of the best, if not the best, on the island. How the name originated , no one quite knows. The water on the beach is crystal clear early in the morning and as the sun comes over the palm trees, the water slowly changes to the famous turquoise shade (blue/ green colour)The sand is coral based and as such it is almost lily white. You have to see it to believe it. There are a few gazebos on a first come first serve basis unless reserved. (I think). Did not use them as the sea water was more enticing. There are also beach chairs for rent at a reasonable cost.. The bar and restaurant facilities are adequate and not too expensive. The Carib bar at the main entrance serves alcohol and rum punch and the service is quite good.
However on the negative side the bathroom, changing and shower facilities need some improvement especially since a fee is charged to enter and cover the use and upkeep of the area and facilities. There are sporting activities such as kitesurfing and jet ski (seadoo)rides available for a fee. You can also get a boat tour to the reef and Nylon Pool but it is more expensive boarding the boat at this point than it is at Store Bay about a mile or two away.
For those who love art and crafts, there are a lot of outlets around selling local works of art along with clothing and beach wear enough to satisfy ones taste.

“Great Beach”

One of the beast beaches in Tobago. Even though u have to pay an entrance fee, it was well worth it and the best part, it is not very crowded like the other beaches on the island,

“Stunning Beach”

If you are in Tobago and not staying on Pigeon Point make sure you visit. We walked to it - not advisable in the heat though!! Once we got there it was an amazing view of the clear blue sea. Take a nice picnic with you and you can easily spend hours people watching :)

“Great beach”
Reviewed October 23, 2013

The Pigeon Point beach facilities are well kempt and it's a great place to relax and have fun. The water was wonderful and I saw persons going on boat rides- will have to try the next time I visit.
The bathrooms and toilets were clean and the entire beach on the whole was well tended. There is a pub/restaurant on the way in and the food tasted great. All in all it was a good experience.

“Beware of sand flies!”
Reviewed October 15, 2013

I went here with another couple, while our husbands went down to beach to set up, us girls went to the washroom. There is a fee to use the bathroom ($1 TT) and a fee to shower ($2 TT). When we finished and started back toward the beach out husbands were putting the stuff back in the trunk! Within that short amount of time, they had been bitten horribly by sand flies. My husband has these awful bites all over his legs. Oh, and yes, we did use OFF! but this didn't stop the bites.
