Crystal clear waters are heavenly, and there is seaweed in the water...gets a bit crowded too, so get there early if you want to snag that spot under a tree.

Stoney beach, Restaurants open too late, 12 Noon. A good morning walk in to the area. Taxis range from TT$15 to TT$50 from Fish Tobago Guesthouse. Bikes are available fro rental.

This was the only beach we went to where we were not completely alone. It was not crowded by Mediterranean standards, but we were used to the idea of a totally deserted beach by then, so this was quite different.
The beach is equipped with facilities (benches, toilets, showers, shacks, restaurants....perhaps too many facilities), and is easy to get to, which perhaps explains its popularity.

Don't miss the boat-trip to Buccoo reef and Nylon Pool - really beautiful, especially if you enjoy snorkeling.

We chose Tobago for our wedding and found no better place to hold our ceremony than on Pigeon Point Beach.

Our planner, Robert from Tobago Weddings was very good at arranging the perfect spot. Especially as it stormed the day before which forced a change in location to accomodate us and our 38 guests.

The beach itself was clean, and not too crowded (but this may e due to the weather).

The facilities on the beach were also clean and conveniently place and there was the ample choice for food and drink.

Being a private beach, there is a cost for entry but for our wedding party entry was included in the booking of the beach.

And for those wary that there would be loads of onlookers - there was not the case at all. Genrally people were respectful and very polite congratulating us as we walked along the beach for photographer.

Pigeon Point Beach is a lovely location for a beach wedding, we definitely saw the appeal and would recommend this spot to anyone thinking of a beach wedding in lovely Tobago.

Pigeon point beach is (to my knowledge) the only beach in Tobago you pay a small entrance fee for ($TT18 pp). But it is so worth it!! Picture perfect tropical beach setting with just the right number of bars (3) & little trinket shops (although they were a little on the pricey side compared even to prices in Crown Point). There are lots of shady places to sit - important as my husband was sunburnt and required a palm tree to sit under!!! I spent the half-day flitting between sunbathing with a book and floating around in the cool calm sea - bliss!! The surrounding waters are just beautiful. We could both easily have spent a full day here, but the heat got a little much for us so we left mid afternoon to grab a carib & iced drink down at Store Bay. This beach is child friendly; there were lots of children around and a good mix of tourists and locals. There are a few tour pushers around but they were all incredibly friendly, don't hassle you (only ask once) but equally are very interesting to chat to if their wares interest you. Certainly one of the best beaches in Tobago.
