“Too crowded to be paradise.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 19, 2013 via mobile

We visited pigeon point as its a "must do" when I'm Tobago. I probably had quite high expectations hence it didn't quite live up to those expectations. None the less it was still a trip worth doing. The beach is lovely and if you walk to the left away from the bar and shops you can easily find you own space of gorgeous peaceful beach and the water is great for swimming.
I personally feel that all the swarm of a activity at the entrance spoils what is a stunning beach with postcard turquoise waters however it's those facilities which a lot of people come for so I it's personal opinion only.

“Pleasant beach”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 11, 2013

A lovely beach that is well worth a visit at least once, if only for the iconic view of the palm thatched pier. You do have to pay a small entrance fee but well worth it for the facilities and no hassle touts. Nice bar next tot he entrance- cold beer on a sunny day!

“Old-fashioned beach”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 6, 2013

Feels as though this beach was set up about 20 years ago to cater for holidaymakers and locals but hasn't changed since then. Good coral beach, pleasant swimming areas, change huts, wash and WC facilities, shelters (it rains!), glass-bottomed boats, jet skis, refreshments etc and that's about it.
Note an entry fee $3 US and a further $3 US per plastic lounger should you desire it.

“Still beautiful”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 1, 2013

We went here for the day concerned that it might not live up to our memories. It is still beautifully kept and the restaurant, not the snack bar provided one of the best meals we had in two weeks on the island. Well worth the small entry charge and good value food with relaxed and friendly service.

“Nice beach, take a snorkelling trip from here.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 27, 2013

You have to pay 18 TTD to get into the park, and you can rent beach chairs here, buy drinks, and food here as well. There are lots of glass bottom boat tours from here to the nylon pool, and then out to the coral reef if you want to snorkel. There are water toys to rent here - kite boards, windsurfers, Hobie cats and kayaks. You can just put your towel on the sand if you don't want to rent chairs, and the water is quite shallow and calm, so safe for everyone. Much nicer we thought than Store Bay beach that was very crowded.
