Six of us went for dinner. The food was superb, the service perfect and the whole evening went very well.

Ah, the much vaunted Seahorse Inn. It is local to where we were staying and having been there before, it was the natural choice for us to visit on our first night here in Tobago. However, we left disappointed this time. For what we received, the price was very high. Portion sizes are small. We had the chicken satay (ok), the tempura prawns (additional sauce was tasteless) and chicken pâté (pleasant enough but not enough toast). For mains, we had rissoto and scallops (which was fine although nothing special) and the rack of lamb. This was the most disappointing. Most of it was still on the bone after trying to make my way through it and I was offered the mint sauce straight out of its original jar!!! Given this place likes to think its offering fine dining, this was a little out of character.

Drinks were very expensive too. Ok, you get what you pay for but the Seahorse bills itself as the place to be ... well it's nice but not all its made out to be.

The lobster meal was very nice but I think you pay extra for the view which we could not see as it was a night visit. The service was ok can't be faulted but lacking something. The lighting in the restaurant is not good so it's difficult to see what you are eating. Nice for a romantic meal for two.

Loved the venue and the view. The food was top draw, fresh, and would recommend you try. It is a little expensive, but worth it.

Impecable service! Delicious food! Beautiful atmosphere! But obviously you have to pay for it. If you don't mind to treat yourself with a little bit expensive meal...This is the perfect place
