“Very good Indian food”
Reviewed August 5, 2013

1. very good service by the waiter. he was very friendly, polite and helpful.
2. food was prepared fresh, hot.
3. Good taste and very close to authentic Indian food.

Cons
1. I was the only person there in a fairly big restaurant on a week day!
2. the ambience was below average.
3. repair work was being carried out while I ate my food right next to me.
4. prices were quite high!

“Authentic Indian Experience”
Reviewed July 20, 2013

Some work could be done on the outside of the building. The décor inside, while rustic and charming could use a hint of freshness and newness. The service was a bit slow and it seem like there was a understaffing problem. The food was tasty, spicy, and was thoroughly enjoyed. It was possibly the best authentic indian food I've tasted so far. Although the prices was higher than I expected, the food was worth it.

“changing tides”
Reviewed July 16, 2013

I wrote a review in 2012 on this restaurant where i had noted that this is one of my visitors both business and personal favourite places to eat. it caters for all tastes and has both northern and southern indian food. The atmosphere is nice and the staff quite attentive.

NOW

While their food continues to be good, not as great as before but good i cannot fathom why they refuse to update or clean the restaurant. on more than one occasion i have been put off eating from what i can describe as a "wet cloth" smell. My visitors on other occasions noted the same. Staff still continue to be attentive but the owners/management need to sharply pull up on the interior and exterior of this building in order for it to keep its name.

“Great place”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

The food here seemed to be cooked from scratch, something that Indian restraunts tend not to do, so the food took awhile to come out. However the wauit was worth it.

Staff were briliant, was one of my favourite eats while in TT,

“Flavorful Indian Food”
Reviewed June 20, 2013

My friends and I accidently stumbled across this restaurant. They share a building and parking lot with a Thai restaurant, which we were originally trying to go to. We had already walked into the restaurant and sat down so we stayed there. What a pleasant dining experience. Decor is nice and rich with color. The food was flavorful, though slightly on the salty side. The Paneer Tikka Masala was one of our favorites. The Chicken Curry was a favorite among the meat-eaters in our group. It was a bit pricier than expected. I would recommend Apsara, just make sure you're going into the right restaurant.
