New rooms are great, staff always helpful, rates could sometimes be a bit high but complimentary Gold Elite upgrades make it worth it though.
Breakfast is no longer a la carte, there is now a buffet. This is a big draw back to me as I usually stay weekends to get some R&R. My other half would usually order bfast and bring it up to the room and I eat whenever I get up. Now I have to get up, get ready and schlep my way downstairs for breakfast...HUGE TURN OFF. I may not stay as often and when I do I will book a rate without breakfast.
My other concern is that the Executive Rooms and Suites no longer have the hot tubs, they were removed with the renovations....now the only difference between an Executive Room and a Standard Room may be a few sq ft more and a couple complimentary snacks, it's a bit disappointing.More
