A refreshing scenic spot overlooking the 'magnificent seven' historic building, the president house and the zoo, an ideal picnic spot if you want a breath of fresh air. Sometimes there may be distraction caused by group outings.

Wedding parties still consider this an ideal location for this photos. The grounds are well kept as it flanks the President's House.

very well kept gardens, with a colonial feel, and next door is the zoo, we had a lovely afternoon there, as we couldnt get to maracas bay due to the roads being too wet, but the zoo was fab!

These gardens are among the best I have visited. We were accosted by David, a guide at the Gardens and thought we might be in for an unwelcome rip-off. But he was EXCELLENT, and really knew his plants, their uses in cooking and/or medicine and their history. Be prepared to tip him, but you will be happy to, as he really adds value to your visit.

We visited the Royal Botanical Gardens as a large family which consists of me, my wife, my two kids, my wife’s parents and her brother’s kids. The place is really very beautiful with lots of trees, shrubs, etc all neatly labeled with their common and scientific name. The various blooming flowers of many different colors were attractive and warm. Since I am more interested in biological sciences, it was quite interesting to read these labels. Our guide was courteous and had good knowledge about the garden’s history. The gardens were filled with charm, quietness and serenity that relaxed us greatly.
