This is a beautiful building from the colonial days, used for parliament sessions.

It was under renovations when I visited, so not very much to see at the time.

“A memorable Parliamentary Experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 19, 2012

You must visit this House of Parliament. It was here that the coup-de-etat took place many years ago. You should visit when the repairs and extensions are complete in Feb 2013.

“A great building but undergoing protracted renovation”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 9, 2012

Poor at present because all you can see is part of the exterior. The renovation is total and the more sceptical locally doubt that it will ever be finished. It is a great shame as I remember the home of Trinidad & Tobago's Parliament as a striking and awe inspiring building but you will have to take my word for it.
