“A city park”
Reviewed August 21, 2013

Just a city park really
Not big
Surrounded by traffic
Nice to walk around
Nothing special
Trinidadian itself is not really a nice place
They have attitude at the airport ,asking for onward tickets etc in case you might want to stay for good
Not a hope!
This is because they have a lot of natural gas, although you wouldn't think it
Port of Spain itself is a dirty third world kind of place with lots of homeless people in the centre
Go for a couple of days if you must knock it of your list
I heard Tobago is better

“Great place to visit - lots of history”
Reviewed August 17, 2013

Queens Park Savannah is a great place to visit - lots of history to be seen in the old plantation owner homes which boarder the savannah. The path around the grass is well maintained and a safe place to walk. The trees which surround the savannah are many different varieties and most have small plaques which give their Latin names, common names and which country they originated from. There is even a Boabab tree from Africa. The path around the savannah ia about 2.1 miles long and lots of people walk or jog around it first thing every morning.
