Favourites include the guava barbecue shrimp and creamy cheddar grits with applewood-smoked bacon or a tasting of three tartares - yellowfin tuna, Atlantic salmon and Chilean sea bass. Chef Khalid prides himself on freshness, quality and creativity with entrees that include tamarind-glazed double-cut pork chop, and the maple-glazed double duck breast with apple butter. Be sure to end your meal at Chaud with some of the best desserts on the island.

“Average food with expensive price tag”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 24, 2014

We went to this place because of the TripAdvisor rating but we were greatly disappointed with the food and the price tag. The street food in Port of Spain tasted much better. The ambiance was good.

“AWESOME Sunday Brunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 16, 2014

Where to begin?? First - this is hands-down the BEST Sunday brunch in T&T. Chef Khalid has outdone himself, and the buffet style allows his staff to really engage with you in a really friendly manner.

The menu selection includes local, haute cuisine and fusion. I can begin describe its depth. But I will tell you that I would walk to town for that Pepper Corn encrusted Prime Rib, as well as the Salmon Ceviche. The Bread Pudding desert was my favourite, but the Mousse shots were a very close second!

JUST A AWESOME experience.

“Extravagant Simplicity”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 12, 2014

Went out for an early Valentine dinner and enjoyed the entire experience. The ambience of the restaurant is very elegant. There is a good selection of wine and the staff are very helpful when trying to decide on a good wine that suites your taste. The starter "My Fish Soup" is happiness in a bowl. The seafood was very fresh bursting with great flavor. My main menu, which was the chicken, with an extra side of mouthwatering creamed spinach was delicious. The chicken breast was tender and succulant, and the skin was crunchy. The mixed berry cheesecake was a plate of hean. So light but yet decadent. When we got the bill, we expected the meal to be much more, but was very reasonable. Would definitely yo there again to try other items on the menu.

“Excellent for lunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 12, 2014

Had lunch here with my husband during the week and it was great. There is a three course menu for $200TT per person thats great value with delicious food.

Points to note - this price does not include service charge or VAT or any drinks.
Also there is a significant wait between courses, maybe 15 to 20mins, so its not a good option if you have a rushed lunch hour.

“Hubby's Birthday dinner - best choice”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 10, 2014

Ambience...food....service....tres excellence. We enjoyed everything about this place. The food especially was awesome. I definitely give it 4 thumbs up (me and hubby). Looking forward to visit again. Only thing is the parking is a bit cramped, however the attendant will ensures that everyone fits comfortably. Love it.
