This was my first time at Angelo. I was told to order the chef's special (rack of lamb, serve with a port sauce if I recall correctly), made to specification. It was served with a side of herb tossed potatoes and vegetables (broccoli and carrot). On tasting the first mouthful I was really impressed. The flavours were Italian but with a Trinidadian spin. The herb combination used with the potatoes and vegetables were subtle yet satisfying. Potion size of the side dish was ample.
After the meal it was dessert time and I was really treated with the dessert trolley! I tried the Sicilian cheesecake and found it rather pleasant, it hit the spot on the sweet level (not high, not low but just right).
I would say that the overall dining experience was great. Also the waiter was very friendly and informative. It's a nice location for a family occasion or couples. I highly recommend it, and yes would visit again when I get the opportunity.
