Owner description: A quiet beach on Trinidad's southeastern coast.

This had been the most disappointing experience. The appliances are all rusty and old, the apartments smell horribly, it is definitely not worth the money people are spending for the weekend deals they are offering. The pictures on their website are completely misleading and are clearly photo shopped. Management made us sign a form ensuring that no loud music would be tolerated however the owners of this "resort" had a tracmac team builder and they came with a carnival music truck with huge speakers so there goes my relaxing peaceful weekend. I cannot believe this is what passes for a resort in Trinidad.

We loved the long and languid drive from Port of Spain. The roads were wide and largely unoccupied. The Atlantic offers quite a more ocean experience than the nearby Carribean Sea. Many of the houses along this commercialized strip were very charming. Some looked pretty run down, but most were not. Great for catching waves and watching the butterfly fish..

I stayed at a beach-house directly on the beach. What made the trip fun was that I walked with my bodyboard for the trip. What a rush! The waves were perfect for bodyboarding. But, it's not really a swimming spot. Also, the beach was not crowded. If I had the chance, I would pay a visit again.

ive been to moon drop some days go for the easter holiday.,its a beach resort but when ur coming from the beach you better not have so much as a grain of sand on ur feet or the owner's wife , a very impolite woman inspected feet to make sure you dont have any sand before you were allowed on the compound, .. they were very rude in many different ways , they were very inconsiderate to the kids.,i frequently visit beach resorts and this is the first review im taking the time to write just to warn people of how awful and rude they are to kids and families. .

We were booked here for 2 nights and did not spend more than an hour on the compound. It is is poor state, dirty, shabby (not shabby-chic, just SHABBY!). There was no way I would've slept on the beds or used any of the kitchen items (all old, mismatched and warped); there was rat-poison and droppings in the cabinets! Everything felt dirty.
The door did not latch properly and was not at all secure; it could've easily been pushed in by a small child. There were doors connecting to other units and the hostess did not have keys to lock them, but was confident that no one was going to stay in the other units, so it was okay for the doors to the other units to remain open.
There is a lovely carat shed to sit and relax and it looked quite inviting until we went into and found bird droppings covering the stairs and 2 sides.
We will NEVER stay here, nor recommend it to anyone.
