Four of us had lunch and dinner here and it was delicious. the Staff is very friendly and very helpfull they called a cab driver to give us a tour of the island since there was a rain shower after our lunch it was the perfect thing to do, in an open air pick up truck!
The wait staff told up that all the chefs that work on the island start at Basil's and when they get good enough they usually move on to the other resturants on the island (the Cotton house or Fire fly) so that maybe why the reviews go up and down as a chef learns the better the food gets? the Cocconut shrimp where the best we had all over St Vincent! Don't bother getting the burger (after 12 days of fish sometimes you just want a burger, it was okay, but everything else was much better).
