We fetched up at Jack's bar out of curiosity. it's reached by road, down a precipitous track and the parking is minimal. Our trip was during the day btw so parking was okay. However after clattering down the steep and innumerable steps we attained the bar, which is on various levels, under awnings and with stunning views out across Admiralty Bay. We were the only coves in the place (da missus and me) but we were treated well and attentively to drinks and a simple burger lunch - not bad - but not great. A swim off the beach is essential, the water's clear as gin and warm and inviting. Most punters come to the bar via water taxi and off their own craft moored in the anchorage and things bop at night - apparently. This we didn't see as we gave up 'bopping' a while ago. Worth a visit though.

Walking in your bare feet off the beach and into the dining room is pretty awesome; the setting is magical. We were there at the end of the season so we were the only party there. One waiter, one cook. The menu was somewhat limited, but that is partly as function of being the end of the season I think. Our waiter was very nice and competent. Our food good. I'd go back for a lunch or drinks.

We had several lunches here during our vacation. We were a large extended family party and we had no complaints at all. Try the wonderful cocktails!

Surroundings cannot be faulted as it is set on a wonderful beach. Food was ok at lunch but have as yet not tried evening meal. It seemed a good menu at night

Had lunch here - setting wonderful, and the beach was lovely. The food was reasonable, although pricey for what it was. Drinks were good.

We found the service to be poor - inattentive staff, slightly surly in their attitude, and the cleanliness of the facilities left a LOT to be desired. I would not go back.
