We fetched up at Jack's bar out of curiosity. it's reached by road, down a precipitous track and the parking is minimal. Our trip was during the day btw so parking was okay. However after clattering down the steep and innumerable steps we attained the bar, which is on various levels, under awnings and with stunning views out across Admiralty Bay. We were the only coves in the place (da missus and me) but we were treated well and attentively to drinks and a simple burger lunch - not bad - but not great. A swim off the beach is essential, the water's clear as gin and warm and inviting. Most punters come to the bar via water taxi and off their own craft moored in the anchorage and things bop at night - apparently. This we didn't see as we gave up 'bopping' a while ago. Worth a visit though.
