We are on Bequia on holiday we went to Firefly on its last night (22nd September) open until 18th October. There was just one other diner nevertheless this did not detract from the quality of service and food received.
We had a nice cocktail each before dinner then both had delicious salad starters using mainly produce grown on the plantation and a lovely dressing.
We both chose the mango chicken with jumped bananas and vegetables as our main which I found to be delicious it was a little too spicy for my wife's taste particularly the accompanying sauce in a small bowl so she left that but the rest she was happy with.
For desert I had a frozen lime twist cheesecake and Sharon had the ice cream both were adequate but not sensational desserts.
The wine we chose was the house rose from South Africa which whilst palatable and a rich colour was not exceptional enough to justify the price.
Overall a pleasant experience that is probably worth the journey to but be aware that Firefly is at the top end of the pricing spectrum and adjust your expectations accordingly.
