What wonderful gardens. We visited these gardens on a trip from a cruise ship and we were greeted by the owner, what an amazing man he was, a perfect labour of love. Most wonderful plants and every corner you turned an amazing site greeted you. We had some rain for a few minutes but that's what makes the gardens. Well worth a visit.

Beautifully landscaped gardens with masses of tropical plants. Far better than the Botanical gardens in Kingstown. Getting there is arduous, better to hire a taxi than try to find it on your own; the journey is long and slow, but the gardens make it worth the trip. Highly recommended - the 5US$ pp entry fee is cheap !

lucelle my landlady loves gardens. She took me here. I loved all the different plants. I took botany in university, but she loves it more than I do. It's virtually the end of the road. I love that.

Located in the mountains above the Mesopotamia Valley, the Montreal Garden estate is blessed with fertile volcanic soil and frequent rainfall. You will find an array of exotic flower species and plants interspersed with green foliage in an environment that is cool, misty and quiet.
The Gardens are open to the public during the weekdays from 09:00 am until 4:00 pm between the months of December and August. The small entrance fee of EC$10 per person is charged and only EC$5 for children under 12 years of age. It is closed on weekends and bank holidays.

I really appreciated the variety of plants and flowers on the premises, the skillfully shaped trees and flower beds, beautifully manicured... Located much higher in the mountains area at an altitude of 1,500 feet, the fresh breeze is welcomed as the temperature here is always quite warm. The panoramic is delightful. The walkways and pounds here and there are enchanting. Truly a hidden gem for those who are into it; worth the drive.
