“Wonderful but beware of Seckie in Clifton Harbor”
Reviewed January 10, 2014

We chartered a boat ourselves as we have done in many times in other areas. A man named Seckie and it is written on the side of his boat, sold us a mooring ball. Imagine our surprise when another boat came up and told us to move, we were on his mooring ball, it was owned by the wind and sea (company). It was pitch black and no way we could move the boat at night (read your contract). The wind and sea wound up double mooring his boat onto the ball we paid for. Talk about nerve racking. We were in the area 10 days and never had a problem with anything else. Watch out for Seckie, he is a thief. I would have given this trip an excellent rating had it not been for this one incident.
Sunsail charters in the Grenedines, St. Georges Harbor...simply the best. They are wonderful to work with.

“Second visit Jan 2013”
Reviewed January 14, 2013

We returned to the Anchorage in early January and found that it had changed and not for the better. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was just average and there is no dinner service. The problem is that it seems to have become an haven for kite surfers and therefore gets quite noisy in the evenings until well after midnight. It is not a place for the over 40'S who need their rest and relaxation

“Thieves”
Reviewed May 26, 2012

WARNING: water taxi by the name of Angelo ( real name Desley Cole) operating Saltwhistle Bay in Mayreau and Union Island is a thief!! Do not be fooled by the smile or smooth talk, he will steal your money right from under your nose and take off before you even realize it as he did with me. Please be warned and pass the word on. Angelo . Bad news.

“Our great stay in Union Island and the Grenadines”
Reviewed April 23, 2012

We arrived in Union Island on the fast ferry from St. Vincent. We were met at the docks by a golf cart which took us back to our hotel The Anchorage Yacht Club. Union Island is a great place for a quiet holiday and the people there are very friendly. We watched as the fishermen cleaned their conchs and then threw the shells onto a pile which grew every day. We went to a little man made island called Happy Island. It is built on a bed of conch shells and the chap that owns it has his home and bar there. He makes his own electricy from solar power and disttills his own water from the sea. Great place for a truly relaxing afternoon. I would recommend Union Island and the Anchorage Hotel. It is NOT for people who expect 5 star service. It is a quiet out of the way kind of place
