Just like our experience of Nevis generally, this was a charming and relaxing place to stay, with great views. The hosts were unintrusive, but available if required to deal with any issues or to give advice. The property is high on the hillside, so gets plenty of refreshing breezes, and no need for anything other than nature's own air-conditioning. Amenities are pretty basic, but we had everything we needed in our short stay. And we loved Nevis ! Such a happy and friendly place.

Well maintained cottage in garden of the owners, where we were made to feel very welcome. You do need a car though, but Veronica was able to arrange this for us. We were offered the use of the washing machine, veggies and herbs from the garden and lots of local advise for best beaches and places to eat. Even Goldie the dog joined us for evening drinks. Altogether a lovely place to stay.
This is a such a unique spot with utterly spectacular sunset sea views from the large front deck, down over the lush green slopes. Our 10 day stay was just so restful, living the laid-back island life!
Innisfree is third of the way up a volcano and the trade winds keep you refreshingly cool. I loved the sounds of monkeys chattering and wild donkeys braying in the distance. Despite planning on utilising the cottage's self catering facilities and lovely choice of herbs growing, we were lured into the many excellent places to eat on the island, from the Thai in the botanic gardens to the beachside Yachtsman grill with sumptuous lobster pizzas. Some stunningly beautiful old colonial plantations are an interesting walk from the cottages, with delicious lunches and rum punches. Ronnie and Brett were fantastic hosts and gave us excellent local recommendations. What a perfect place to re-charge! We really hope to return in the future and maybe even manage the volcano summit climb!

What an absolutely idyllic location, situated on the south western slopes of Mount Nevis this superb little cottage was cool clean and comfortable with breathtaking views over the Caribbean. Set in a tranquil garden we were fascinated by the variety of bird life and especially the charming little humming birds visiting the garden flowers. We would have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone who wants a little peace and quiet away from it all. Local restaurants right across the price range were all excellent, not a single bad experience in 10 days.

My hubby and I stayed in the larger cottage for 3 nights. We thought the bed was comfy, the room was very clean and the front porch was nice. The grounds are very well landscaped and the area is more secluded. Veronica was pleasant to talk to. The only note is that the shower is very weak and the hot water wasn't extremely hot. This shouldn't detract from deciding to stay there as it wasn't a big deal. All in all, this is a nice location, clean and comfy place and a great price.
