Gateways has recently reopened under new ownership. The restaurant itself is tastefully and comfortably furnished, and there are tables outside to both front and rear.
The restaurant is located about a hundred yards back from the beach, which is accessed across a lawned garden with great views of the sea and St Kitts.
We very much enjoyed our early dinner - we both had ribs but also on the menu were fish, steak, lobster, etc, plus a variety of starters including caesar salad, fishcakes and wings. There is a lighter lunch menu available. All of it is extremely reasonably priced.
The service was excellent, and the new owner, Ray, very hospitable.
Highly recommended - we have visited many beach bar/restaurants and this is as good as it gets. We will be visiting again soon at lunch time so we can enjoy the beach and sea as well as the food!
