Ah..treasure beside and from the sea!! We ferried over to Nevis from St Kitts to have a walk about but unbeknownst to us it was a post Election Day holiday so everything was closed. Not a problem, off to the beach we went after a waterfront breakfast in town.
We walked into this cute and quaint little resto-bar just off the beach to escape a quick downpour, drawn by the soft sound of a wonderful steel drum and we were greeted by the beautiful and friendly Ashana who provided us with fantastic service for our entire stay.
To say we enjoyed the most delicious spiny caribbean lobster tail lunch we have ever eaten anywhere in the world would be a complete understatement. This was simply amazing, delicate, buttery and tender with a perfect herbed lime butter dip on the side, fresh salad and very hot home made fries! $20...OMG, what a deal. A quick lunch turned into many hours, many excellent cocktails and so darn much friendly attentive, smiling service, we were just SO HAPPY we wandered in. Some folks who sat beside us offered us a very large portion of their grilled Grouper, because once they saw our lobster and heard the moans of OH MAN that is GOOD they ordered lobster too. Once again, we were "wowed" with what that little beach grill can turn out. Apparently Lime is only about 3 years into the business now, we met the owners and had a nice chat. I took the time to find the cook who told me his secret to the "tenderness" of his grilled seafood was that "it was made with love". Indeed. Indeed! Bravo and keep that quality level up! Other folks heading to Pinney's on Nevis...........RUN TO LIME!!!
