Loved every minute of our dining experience here. The restaurant itself reminds me of a tree-house nestled away on top of the mountain. The staff was very kind and delightful. From the moment we arrived by taxi, there was someone waiting for us in the parking lot to show us down the path with a flashlight to the restaurant. Our waitress, Rosemary, was the best host. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was truly an unforgettable experience.
We read other reviews prior to dining at this restaurant. The majority of the negative reviews were about the dogs who are on site as well as negative comments about not being kid friendly. We saw several families with children when we were there and the staff catered to their every need. We do not have children (yet) but it seems as though this place would be perfect for a family outing. We did also see the dogs walking around. For those who commented on the dogs being a nuisance, barking/attacking, etc. are WRONG. The dogs are not big at all, never barked and never bothered any diner at the restaurant. In fact, the dogs were as sweet as can be and were very warm, welcoming and loving upon approach.
The restaurant is definitely hard to find. Taking a taxi would be ideal because the driver knows where it is, however, the taxi service is VERY expensive (almost as much as the meal!). Otherwise, the restaurant, staff, food and experience was absolutely amazing.
