Description: Situated on the edge of the Rainforest Bananas is casual fun dining in a magical setting. We take our food very seriously but it is good home cooking prepared by hard working local ladies, not fancy or Gourmet.. However our menu is very creative and we use only fresh ingredients and where possible free range organic produce and meats. We have Magnificent Sunset views from our Firefly lounge and a superb selection of cocktails and old rums and a small selection of cuban Cigars.

Ladies went out for a girls weekend and decided to do drinks before a meal at Montpelier. We decided to have their passion fruit martini and then decided for an appetizer. Great music and very well decorated. Frankly, we should have stayed at Bananas for dinner. The atmosphere was much better than Montpelier and our appetizer was great. The bartender and waistaff were very friendly and fun. I've also had lunch here on a previous trip to Nevis and I was not disappointed. Great place. Don't miss it.

Having eaten in most of the more expensive places in nevis this place is a breath of fresh air. Local cuisine, awesome atmosphere, lovely staff. As the title says... If your gonna eat anywhere.... Lobster is the best ive ever had... Conch cowder is amazing.... Order the mezze to start.... Mixture of local produce done carribean style.. Goats water for the adventurous... Worth a visit.

Cabbed it from the 4 seasons $20 each way. Passion martinis are great as were the local appetizer sampler. Fish was good and the mussels in white wine were outstanding. Great service and a pleasure to visit even though the owner wasnt around the employees were still aiming to please.

we went to Bananas on my birthday to celebrate and it was definitely a great place to do so. the grounds are breathtaking and their is local art to look at too. they had a good rum punch. my husband had ribs that fell off the bone-really liked them and i had gnocchi with portabella mushrooms and gorgonzola. delicious and filling (i was able to take some home with me). overall it was an excellent place and i would highly recommend this restaurant and worth the cost!
