We decided to walk from the market up to the restaurant. Definitely all uphill. But the view of the harbor was stunning at sunset. Everything about our food was excellent, especially the lobster. The best we had on the island. Service was very good but a little slow.

Judging from the menus, the write up and the 2013 excellence awards we planned an exceptional dining experience for the last night of our holiday.
The initial service was good. After ordering, the wine came promptly. Shortly after, we were provided with complimentary hors d'oeuvres. Less than a minute later and virtually before we had chance to begin, our starters arrived! The shrimp starter was interesting and the pumpkin soup pleasant. After a further 20 minutes our main courses arrived. Neither of these were to the description on the menu. The "mahi mahi with a crispy cheddar/parmesan crust on a bed of jasmine rice" had a coating which resembled undercooked breadcrumbs, despite the fish being fully cooked. The "vegetable medley with mushrooms, sweetcorn and peppers topped with a pastry lid" had no mushrooms or sweetcorn and few peppers. Steamed vegetables (no roasted veg, as offered on the menu, were available) were chosen to accompany the dish but were exactly the same as in the medley. We returned the main courses and got a "no problem" response from a different waitress. The fish was replaced by one with the correct cheese crust but the rice was now a stodgy mess (original, reheated?) and the plantain/tomato uneaten on the original dish was not present. The vegetable dish was replaced by seafood pasta with plenty of seafood but poorly presented.
We were brought the bill before we had chance to request the dessert menu, and whilst we had a third of a bottle of wine remaining. We were asked if were ready to pay before we had examined the bill and had half full wine glasses. We felt as if we were being ushered away.
A further annoyance was that the inside menu had significantly higher prices than those posted on the outside wall (e.g. vegetable medley 62->69.5 and mahi mahi 80->89.
Of the 7 holiday meals we had, this was the most disappointing, in the most expensive restaurant. Is it resting on its laurels?

We have been going here every year we visit St Kitts and went twice this year. The lobster is great as is everything else on the menu. Service and staff are very good and very friendly.

Our cruise ship visited St. Kitts, and we decided to hike around the island. At lunch time we came upon Serendipity and decided to give it a try. We had fish that was super fresh and delicious, and we had a dessert that featured mango from the restaurant's mango trees. The view was beautiful as was the entire experience.
