My group of four had Ivan, the tour guide, to ourselves on the day that we visited St. Kitts. An hour into the tour, we began to feel that we had St. Kitts to ourselves too. Ivan's tour took us through lush rainforest, fields of cane, and estate ruins. St. Kitts is a beautiful island.

Three of the four of us had not driven a quad bike before but felt confident after a few laps around the Spectrum Tours base. Two of us later ran our bikes off the track when we drove too quickly around corners. My mother was actually thrown off hers to which Ivan reacted quickly and professionally to assess her injuries. She escaped with only cuts and bruises which Ivan treated once back at the base. This story has since prompted others to share their quad bike horror stories (some resulting in death). We weren't aware that they could be so dangerous.

For us, the tour fell short of a five star rating for a combination of minor criticisms: email communications prior to the tour were not prompt; Elvis, who drove us between the port and the base spoke so little that he came across as unfriendly; the length of the tour was shorter than we expected; water was not provided; Ivan was informative but not impressively so; and, for the amount of money that we paid, we would have liked some fruit as well as the lemonade that was offered to us at the end of the tour.

This experience will remain one of our most memorable in the Caribbean - and not just because of the spectacular bruising that resulted from it! I recommend it to anyone who is willing to take a chance on a quad bike, willing to get dirty and willing to pay the fee.

We've taken this tour multiple times...it is so much fun and the guides are very nice. They give you an informative tour, pick you fresh fruits, and let you have fun.

Our guides were awesome. Before the tour you are allowed to leave any belongings you won't need at the building - they will lock it up while you're on the tour. Our guides were both very knowledgeable and friendly, my husband was second in the lineup (behind the guide) and he got to "open it up" several times throughout our tour, which he really enjoyed. They were cruising at top speeds! But you are free to go at your own pace, whatever you are comfortable with. They will wait for you - and the second guide stays in back to make sure no one is left behind. Fair warning though: the terrain can be fairly rough in many spots but this was my first time and it was well worth it. You do get to take a few laps before beginning the tour so you can get a feel for it. Also - don't ride around smiling the whole time... you'll get teeth full of dirt! One unexpected favorite stop for me was Caribelle Batik. It's a beautiful spot with handmade fabrics (they are there actually working on them in the shop) and you are free to browse and purchase whatever you like - one of our guides even drove our purchases back to the start point for us so we didn't have to worry about losing them or getting them dirty. This is a truly awesome way to see a lot more of the island. We also chose the option to go to the beach after, which is a perfect way to end the afternoon. The driver even let us choose which beach we wanted to go to and a pickup time. Definitely recommended!

Our extended family of 7 did this trip whilst over in St Kitts from Nevis for a couple of days. Everyone really enjoyed themselves. It started to pour down as we started and we got soaked but soon dried off. There is a little bit of driving on a very minor road but majority on special tracks they have created through the sugar cane fields and it is amazing scenary, with a few stops along the way for breaks. Safety is clearly a priority and they made sure they waited for slower drivers. The kids declared it the best thing they did in St Kitts! Will definitely do again when we visit again.

Elvis, Go-go, and Ivan were all great. We were met at the ship as promised (RCCL) and taken to their location. Had a wonderful ride through the paths on the island. My wife and I had never been on an ATV but had no problems. So, the ATV part was great, with one exception; get some new tires! The things were so bald it was ridiculous. My wife slid off the path into a small tree at a slow rate of speed, thankfully! The beach was very nice, but overcrowded and there was a wait for food so we ate at the bar. The food was pricy but good. Bring some beach towels because seats were few and far between. Elvis was an awesome van driver and even waited for some missing people for an extra 15 minutes. I think they may have left because of the crowd, but he was genuinely concerned that he had to leave. Call and see if they got new tires for the ATV's before reserving. Aside from the tires, I would give and 8 out of 10 for the value
