“Day at the beach”
Reviewed February 15, 2014

Our ship was in port in St. Kitts. A friend arranged a taxi to pick us up and take us to the beach. We went to Reagge Beach at Cockleshell Bay. The drive there was very beautiful! At the beach there was a restaurant/bar, beach chair rental, water sports, massages on the beach. Beautiful setting.

“Deserted”
Reviewed February 13, 2014

Once the ship passengers depart (and they are only there for a short time) there is no-one on this beach and it is idyllic. If you are from a ship, you can't go far wrong coming to this beach. Lovely restaurants, nice beach, massages and some water sports - lovely.

“Volcanic sand, nice beach”
Reviewed February 12, 2014

We decided to spend the day on this beach during a cruise stop. We rounded up some people who weren't sure where they wanted to go and arranged a ride with a guy named Elvis. Less than impressed with Elvis, wouldnt stop along the way to take a pic or check out the monkeys. just said, I will give you a little tour when I pick you up later. (as we arranged a time for him to pick us up). When he did pick us up he was in a hurry to get us back, but not in too big of a hurry to brush the sand of the girls legs then kiss their legs and such. wow..Elvis...you are a bit of a creep. But that said, the beach was really nice. The sand is a mix of fine dark volcanic stuff, which is really cool. There seems to be different areas along the beach for renting chairs and umbrellas. If you are dropped off at the reggae bar/beach area, don't be afraid of walking down the rest of the beach before renting your chairs. the chairs at the reggae are $5. some are cheaper as you go. the reggae area has a few more amenities available, but beer is about $4 a bottle .....walk 25 yards and it's $2. We also found that the local massage vendors hound you a bit more here, but it seems like the trick is just to say, No...., but I know where you are so if I want one I will come see you. Good snorkeling in areas, saw a large cowfish by the swimming platform. They have some available watersports. Enjoyed the area, just wish Elvis had not been our driver.

“Nice beach.”
Reviewed February 10, 2014

Used facilities attached the restaurant - so good amenities. Lunch OK, but wished we had chosen the pizzas - best bargain on St Kitts $8 US for decent size. Everyone around seemed to really enjoy. Drinks reasonably priced.

“Beautiful Beach”
Reviewed February 9, 2014

A nice beach which is like in a protected cove. It is not very big, but very beautiful. This was the last stop on a Taxi tour from our cruise ship, and it was a nice way to finish up the day. The water was very nice and clear. The price to rent umbrellas and chairs was very reasonable and there were several places to purchase food and drink at reasonable prices. We were the only cruise ship in port on the day we were there and it was in the afternoon when we arrived and it was not that crowded at all, just a short trip from where we were dropped off, and you could pick a nice spot to hang out. If you were looking for a nice beach to spend the whole day, I would recommend this place highly!
