Best indian food I have ever had!!! We introduced my daughter to the food for the first time this trip. It's located on a corner and is a quaint little place. They are friendly and the food is always amazing.

In the heart of Basseterre, the location isn't the greatest, and the service wasn't spectacular, but the food kinda makes up for it. Lots a good choices and very tasty. The big test is always the next day and since we had no ill effects, a positive rating is in order.

Wednesday night buffet is great. 40ec and the smorgasbord is always different and tasty. Thursdays and Fridays are half price apps and half price drinks respectively. Nicely situated in downtown Basseterre across from Warner park.

Without a doubt, our honeymoon in Nevis would not have been as special had it not been for the wonderful dining experience at Banana's Bistro. We loved it so much; we went twice on our 10 day trip. Banana's has a warm romantic Caribbean ambience whose view peaks over the island through swaying palms and native trees. The restaurant is splashed with beautiful paintings and mosaics from local artists. The service is some of the best we had on the island and don't be surprised when the owner comes by for a quick chat. Everything was cooked to perfection. The lobster was delicious, the lamb was succulent, and the Snapper and Mahi were fresh. As far as desert is concerned, we recommend the coconut cake with some homemade banana ice cream. Without a doubt, Banana's is a must visit for any traveler's trip to Nevis to be complete.

STAR of India food was decent. No problems, but nothing to rave about. Service was incredible and friendly. It's true that PRIDE of India has better food, but their service is terrible. I've never been as insulted as I was at Pride (asked us to share glasses, ran out of rice and wouldn't make more, wanted guests living in different houses to share a take-home box, etc.) and if anything, service at Star of India was too friendly.
