“Beautiful and Elegant with Wonderful Staff”
Reviewed January 4, 2014

We are able to visit this lovely restored plantation twice, once in the day and once after dark. It is beautiful in a tropical understated way with antiques and gardens. The staff members we met, Karlene and Delesa were SO nice and visiting with them was a fun addition to our experience there. We hope to return on our next stay in St. Kitts.

“Get Ready for an Experience for the Senses”
Reviewed December 31, 2013

Fairview sits high on a hill with breathtaking views of the Caribbean. The restoration of the house is gorgeous with bright tropical colors, wide open spaces. Perfectly situated to catch breezes to keep comfortable. The guide was excellent in pointing out all the types of trees and plant life. We finished our tour with High Tea - 5 courses of delectable goodies and tasty tea. Well worth the time to visit.

“Fair view is fair”
Reviewed December 31, 2013

We visited the plantation as part of a ship's shore excursion and enjoyed a pleasant afternoon. The house, although mostly restored due to termite damage, is charming but not terribly interesting. The grounds are quite pretty and we had a very nice and knowledgable guide - Karlene. The gift shop underneath the house should be moved to a nicer (and brighter) location. I didn't feel like spending $7.00 on a refrigerator magnet. We did enjoy a very nice tea with little sandwiches and sweets. They certainly didn't skimp on the amount - I doubt that anyone left hungry. We sat out on a very pretty covered veranda with a lovely sea view but I wish I had known about the pool on the property because it was very inviting and a swim would have been nice.
Without a lot to do on St. Kitts we were happy with this little tour.

“Interesting, but not somewhere we spent a long time.”
Reviewed December 28, 2013

Fairview is a beautifully restored plantation house around which you can wander freely - but it doesn't take long!

We were on an organised tour, so didn't linger. Had we come under our own steam, we might have taken advantage of the restaurant and pool to spend a day here.

Enjoyed the authentic feel.

Grass amazingly springy! Great place if you are interested in beautiful gardens.
