Went for 4 nights on this site, I have a walking disability and the staff allocated me a caravan adapted for people with walking disability, which suited my needs and could cater for a wheelchair. There was plenty of room inside with a large bedroom and a walk in shower which was great for me, Staff were very friendly and helpful. No shop on site but close to shops and Blackrock Sands. Very clean and tidy site. Good for family with children and dog friendly. Reception has plenty of DVDS which you can borrow at no charge. Would visit again.

Room tip: Contact site before you visit

A short weekend away at the end of the season. Great little site as usual. There seems to be a change of staff since I visited in the Summer so have to clarify a couple of things as they didn't match from my last visit or what was advertised on the website. Very polite staff and no issue's weren't not dealt with. Will be back.

Overall site is clean and tidy, the shop looks quite new and is well stocked. My son enjoyed the DVD library and the board games you could borrow. We all felt a bit of investment in some new signage, flower beds, hanging baskets would make all the difference.

Parts of the play park where out of use and the laundry was out of use until later in the week.

Good location, 10 minute walk from the beach at Black Rock Sands. Bus stop outside, village shop and fish and chip shop 10 minutes walk away.

This site is set up perfectly for statics but the touring side of things has been an after thought. No grey waste facilities for us motorhomes and toilets at times were unclean and not very tidy. Don’t stay here if your kids want to camp in a tent either as this is not allowed whatsoever. Location is good, staff friendly and helpful, just think they need to concentrate on one of the other when it comes to which type of caravan they want to accommodate

Just had 5 nights at this site in a motorhome. It was a big disappointment - nothing like the description on the website. The gardens were not well tended - long grass and weeds and certainly no flowers.
Apparently they have been promising new shower and toilet facilities for a couple of years but nothing seems to be happening other than a concrete base with drainage which seems to have been there for some time. The Elsan point was dirty and unhygienic. Just a tap on a badly designed concrete plinth with no flush or hose to clean it. We did tell reception and the area was cleaned but no hose added. I cannot believe we are the only people to complain.
The temporary portacabin toilets/showers were adequate but not cleaned regularly. There was no wash up area or laundry.
The pitches were located on a long narrow strip with hedges in front and behind so no view at all. There were 13 touring pitches which were mainly empty - 5 vans was the most we saw. The pitches were all fully serviced but there was no dedicated grey water disposal for those who didn’t have the facility to empty their waste on the pitch.
On a positive note, the staff were friendly and helpful and the shop was well stocked for everyday essentials. A good selection of books and dvds were also available to borrow. At £33 per night we certainly did not feel it was value for money.
