Served buffet style with only one main course. If you are just coming to the dining room and not staying here make sure to ask what the main course is so you'll know what to expect. If the menu that day suits you give them a try, I don't think you will be dissappointed. They serve complementary wine, but if you want a specific wine you might want to bring your own.

I was staying at Paradise Villas and decided to have dinner at Pirate's Point. I chose the night they served a Cayman style dinner featuring fish, okra, cho-cho, salad and chocolate mouse tart dessert. After being fetched at my villa, I was offered appetizers (edamame, fruit, cheese and pepperoni and crackers) at the bar and mingled with the resort guests. I was seated for the meal with owner Gladys and other friendly guests. Dinner's prix fixe included wine and gratuities.

It was well worth the price for the quality of the food and the interesting ambiance.

Didn't like being 'herded' into the dining room at meal times for the bun fight. Food not worth it anyway!

We ate dinner here recently and my family was divided in its assessment. two of us thought the food was of high quality. The black beans were the best I have ever tasted. The salad was fresh and the dressing was beautiful. The fajitas were good, but not outstanding. Two of us thought it was overpriced and not that special. My youngest did not appreciate not having any choice. The meal is set, and you get what you get. For Little Cayman, the price wasn't bad in my view: 200 dollars for four including wine (Rosemount Shiraz--again no choice-- shuttle service to and from the restaurant. Gladys did make all feel welcome, and it is clear that guests staying there really grow quite fond of her.

First- make reservations. There's a reason Pirate's Point dining is so popular. The meals are prix fixe so inquire as to what's being served on which night. Tremendously laid-back atmosphere and the people there make everyone welcome. Don't be afraid to join the conversation. The meals are so good you'll look around for a reality check- yes, you're still on an island. Chefs Jeff and Dianne are truly accomplished. Jeff's risotto is so good you'll want to punch someone.
