We booked them because a family friend had booked an excursion through them. We lucked out and did NOT book through our cruiseline-much cheaper!! We did the starfish/stingray/coral reef excursion. Such a great crew, very informative. Being with the stingrays in the wild was awesome and would love to come back and do it again. They took take pics of you that you can purchase, but don't forget to bring your underwater camera or have a protector on your cell phone for water. "Happy Hour" was quite the experience. Once you feed them, they crawl all over you!! But so cool. They can crawl up on your face as well with the guides. Make sure you hold the food higher up because it feels like a vaccum sucking it up. The coral reef was the best snorkeling we have done. Colorful fish, coral, just incredible. Sharon was very friendly.
If anyone going to this island, don't book through the cruiseline. Others that do book through them more than likely will be on your trip. There is plenty of time to get back to the ship. We actually had time to have a quick lunch and some shopping. This excursion is well worth the money and we hope to come back!

Took my family of four on this excursion thru native ways and it was simply the best. We had Soloman and Andrew as our guides. We couldn't have had a better time. There was just my family and one other family on the boat ao a total of 8 of us. We first snorkeled for starfish and conk shells. After that we went to stingray city and hung out there for a very long time. Guides helped in every possible way ti make sure the excursion went well. I will only book them in Grand Cayman. You get more than your moneys worth.

Used a local tour company - Nativeways Watersports - for the Stingray and Island Tour. Sharon (Part-owner) picked us up at the cruise terminal. (My three teens and myself) and drove us to the pier where a private boat was waiting for us. We were taken to the large sand bar where all the stingrays hang out. We were the only boat that was private out there out of 12+ boats so we really had great interaction with the rays. (The other boats had 20+ people) Our guides fed the rays and caught them for us so we could hold, stroke and even kiss them. They helped us take pictures with these magnificent creatures. We were allowed to spend as much time as we wanted before continuing on our island tour. I am so glad I chose Nativeways over the cruise ship tour.

We had the pleasure of taking the Native Way Island and Stingray City Tour during our Disney Cruise last week. The same tour was offered by Disney, but I booked through Native Way after reading their Trip Advisor reviews and saved about 20%. Even though the trip did not appear to be available on their website for the day we would be in port, they confirmed via email that they would be able to accommodate our group of 6.

Sharon, the driver and guide met us at the port. She is funny, informative, and bright. Her husband gave us an escorted tour of the Turtle Farm so we could make the most of our brisk itinerary and still have quality time interacting with the turtles. The stops at the Rum Cake Factory (which is mostly a gift shop) and Hell were so-so, but worth the time as they are a slice of island culture.

The highlight of our trip was Stingray City. Chris ferried our small group to the sandbar on his beautiful boat. We passed several crowded boats en route. When we arrived, Chris provided us with plenty of squid for the stingray and kept us surrounded by the beautiful creatures the whole time we were in the water. He taught us all about them and helped my parents, ages 71 and 78 feel very comfortable. My kids, ages 12 and 13 are still talking about the great experience.

Sharon and Alvin are the owner's of Native Way and they are both wonderful tour operators. I had a group of 30 people and Alvin was there to meet us at 9 to drive us to the Grand Cayman Yacht Club to take a boat to stingray city. They own a very nice fishing boat and my group was very comfortable having the tour to ourselves. We went to Stingray City to feed the rays, snorkeling the reefs, and we spent an hour at 7 mile beach. Sharon said we could stay longer, but we wanted to shop in port. They also advised us on where to shop. We all had an amazing day and we cannot wait to go back to Grand Cayman and take another tour with Native Way.
