We waked to the beach and headed out to the reef. Keep in mind it is a tough swim out and back in vs. most off the beach snorkel spots. Once you get out there....hundreds of fish and man varities. We did not see but were told there were puffer fusha nd sting ray. I went out to the reef with my 9 and 8 year old kids. Have fun!

Nice beach between various places with amenities and good fish if you jump in for a quick snorkel. Doesn't tend to get too crowded.

Since we did not stay at a ocean-front property, this was our go-to spot on the beach. Next to the Westin Resort, this was nice short walk from our hotel, Sunshine Suites. It was a nice quite spot and great for snorkeling right off the beach. Watch for boat traffic though as Red Sail Water Sports has a boat channel right in front of the Westin. You may want a diver down flag or be out there with a few others so you are visible.

This is the beach that you see on every tropical calendar and advertisement by wonder where in the world it is. No photo touch-ups needed for this beach.

We saw some beautiful fish at this easy access reef off Governor's Beach. The only thing is that you need to be careful to stay within the boundaries and not move into boat traffic.
