“Superb service!!!”
Reviewed November 8, 2013

This hotel is well worth the money. From the time you arrive, you are surrounded by the hospitality of the employees. As we arrived in our taxi, each doorman greeted my husband and I by name and took our bags. upon entering the pristine hotel, we were offered complimentary Rum punches and cookies while we waited in line to check in. Although there were several couples in line, Leroy was there to keep us company and help the time fly by. After we checked in, we were personally walked up to room where our bags were waiting for us. The hotel has been recently remodeled so the room are lovely. we had a garden view room, but the view was just as nice as the ocean view. Couple things to know about the hotel. Its located on both sides of the street with a connecting bridge. Pros for having a garden view, you're on the same side as the front desk( easy access to taxis), and most of the restaurants in the hotel. The ocean view rooms are located across the bridge on the other side of the street making it a bit of a trip from the front desk. Maybe the only Con i have for the garden view is having to walk across the bridge to get to the ocean. one other detail about the room, even though it was beautifully decorated if you are a light sleeper like myself, the walls are a bit thin. our room was by the ice machine and i heard every time someone decided to get some ice. When we arrived we decided to have lunch at Bar jack. I must say the crock pot chicken tacos were the best chicken tacos i ever tasted!!! The next morning we ate breakfast at Seven and it was a bit ordinary but the view from the table made it worth it.we also had drinks at the bar and room service for our final breakfast. the bar is a bit overpriced ($25 for a Bellini) and the room service was top class. All in all this hotel was an excellent experience that i would recommend to anyone.

Outstanding & friendly service from front desk, pool servers, maids, waiters, golf, everybody is so nice! I felt like the employees were happy and it showed through their positive attitude. Hotel is first class and everyone treats you like a VIP. 1st - before leaving US go to duty free shop to buy liquor. Ritz is expensive so you can save a little by having a drink in your room before going out. 2nd - Blake and Teo in golf shop super nice, professional and helpful. First class operation and course is a nice 9 hole challenge with narrow fairways on the R/C grounds. Bring extra balls, if it is windy you will lose a lot of balls. 3rd - eat a few meals at Sunshine Grill hard to find so ask for directions (next door to Ritz) but good food at very good prices to save a little money. 4th - use the beach amenities as you pay $50/day for these items; snorkel, sail, kayak, paddle board, etc. 5th - 15% tip added to all meals but I found I wanted to give a little more as the waiters were so nice. The fitness center has old equipment and could be updated but can get a nice walk on the beach. I thought Periwinkle was average - service great but thought food was bland. We like Seven for breakfast (buffet US$37.50) and dinner. Seven has an amazing dessert, chocolate molten cake with sea salt caramel ice cream! Taikun sushi was very good with freshly grated wasabi. I am so spoiled that I don't want to try any other place. We already plan on coming back next year. Expensive but for a special vacation worth the splurge and total relaxation! I love this place!

Had a great family vacation at the Ritz, all adults celebrating an anniversary. We ate at SEVEN (had a special beach dinner set up for all 8 of us, and a private waiter) and boy did Jeremy pull this off! He was amazing and fun, and kept us fed and entertained. The BLUE restaurant was a disappointment, we had the most expensive tasting menu by their signature chef, and it was V. expensive ($170 PP plus tip and drinks), and "little food" if you like that kind of stuff. Nothing particularly exquisite, just a very very long wait between these little mini courses. Dinner took 4 1/2 hours and cost $500 a couple, so be prepared for that, and I'd probably eat before hand. Rooms at the Ritz were beautiful, its a great property, the pool and bar staff were wonderful, and we had a lot of their $17.50 cocktails (like rum and coke). Lots of 1%'ers hanging out there, but if you've got the chops, it's actually worth it.

Room Tip: Enjoyed the oceanfront views. If you can get a corner room with a large balcony, I'd be jealous...

Beautiful property. We had spectacular views of the ocean from our room. Ocean is very clean and clear. Enjoyed the ocean kayaks. Terrific Ritz Carlton service. I am giving it 4 stars for minor reasons. The shower in our room was too narrow. We stayed here in October 2013 which is the off-season. Therefore, the children's club was closed. This was not clear until we arrived. But other then that, a wonderful resort.

My friends and I just had a golf outing at Blue Tip. The golf course was great but the service we received put it over the top. Paula, in the pro shop, made us feel very welcome and Blake and David made us feel like visiting tour pros. Richard, the beverage guy, even went out to one of our cars to retrieve a phone. Stellar service.

The Ritz Carlton is a gorgeous property. As expected, very expensive. $50 a day resort fee per person. Beach side pool is busy and a nice spot for lunch. Staff was very friendly and attentive. A great hotel!

The location on the beach is breathtaking and central to located close to other activities. The staff provided some of the best service we have ever received, everyone was happy and nice, going the extra mile, from remembering our names the next day to delivering complimentary watermelon slices on the beach. The paddle boarding is a lot of fun and easier than it looks! Best hotel in Cayman!

Room Tip: Ocean view!
