“A great, low-cost alternative for breakfast.”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

We stayed at the Marriott down the street and walked over to Cimboco. The service was quite friendly, and their "5 for $5" breakfast kept bringing us back. Also, there is an outside area that was so much fun to eat at. Roosters, hens, chicks were walking around asking for your attention - which is not untypical in Grand Cayman. If you want the feel of the area, this is a very nice place to enjoy. Try it.

“Great flavor and great dessert for dinner.”
Reviewed February 26, 2013

We had been within two blocks for 7 nights before we tried it. It was the most flavorful non- fried food we had. We had beef stroganof, chicken fettucini, linguini carbonara, and Firecracker pasta. All were very good. $16.95 and down to $14.25. All came with bread. Dessert was great as the homemade vanilla ice cream was great with the cheesecake brownie and the chocolate tart. Other desserts paled in comparison for $7.50. Family of 5 completely stuffed. Kids menu had buttered pasta for $6.25. All in Cayman prices which means you have to add 25% more for US dollars.

“I was disappointed...”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

My husband and I read reviews on Trip Advisor so that's why we decided to try CImboca. I can only tell you that I was disappointed on so many levels. First we ordered bruscetta and there was so much onion on it that both of us had heartburn for hours afterward. Also I ordered a spinach salad and the other greens under the spinach was brown! It totally grossed me out so that I did not enjoy any of the meal after that. There is also no view but of a parking lot...so try somewhere else while you are visiting paradise! Trust me on this one.

“OK Brunch”
Reviewed February 24, 2013

Great service and average food for brunch. Hash browns not crispy enough. Too much Hollandaise on the Benedict. Coffee just OK. Decor lovely.

“Good breakfast spot”
Reviewed February 22, 2013

We had breakfast here three times during a 5-day stay at the Marriott nearby. It's a friendly, popular place, with helpful and welcoming staff. The location is nothing special - behind a gas station and in a small shopping mall, but the food was very good. The kids had french toast and various side dishes (including wonderful herbed roasted potatoes), while the adults stuck to granola and fruit. All very fresh and tasty. Eating out is very expensive in Grand Cayman (even compared to other Caribbean islands), but Cimboco was significantly cheaper than eating in the Marriott. The food quality was better too!
