This tiny restaurant next to KFC in Bay Town Plaza proved to be a wonderful surprise! We have traveled all over the world and have eaten at Indian restaurants everywhere! Coming from India, we are usually looking for authentic Indian food, not the extremely rich and fatty Indian food that is found all over the US! This restraunt in Grand Cayman is the closest we have come to authentic Indian food outside India! There is one other restaurant in Cairns, Australia (the Taj), that comes close! The spice level was just right - we visited with 2 kids under 10, both of whom are picky eaters! Both of them cleaned their plates out here! The service was excellent, the owner stopped by at each table to welcome the guests, and the dishes were very reasonably priced! For a place like Grand Cayman, where a footlong subway sandwich is close to $10 (USD), dinner for a family of 4, cost less than $40 (USD). We have three more days left of our weeklong vacation - we are definitely planning to go check the place out for their lunch menu(which they say has some really good dosas)!
