We arrived at the Ritz in Grand Cayman on 12/14/13. It was along day so we decided to stay at the hotel for dinner. The ambiance of the restaurant was traditional and elegant. The service was superb and the menu was well balanced. Our martinis were prepared perfectly. We were served fresh bread immediately that was accompanied by a liver pate spread that was layered with a sweet preserve that was simply fantastic! We had oysters on the half shell for an appetizer. They were fresh and well chilled. Our main course (locally raised) was a grass fed organic New York Strip prepared rare. It was cooked perfectly and well presented. The flavor was amazing with a hint of sweetness. The bar area was appealing and we found ourselves coming back nightly for the ambiance. Grand Cayman is loaded with great restaurants and this place ranks right up there with te best.
