My wife, daughter and I visited GC over the Thanksgiving holiday and this was our first meal on the island. We arrived early, right as the restaurant opened and were, thus, quickly seated and had excellent service. Out waiter was very friendly and helpful with the menu, help us with a family photo or two, and was generally, very attentive. Our appetizers included the spicy yellow fin tuna tartare with avocado, fennel salad, and soured tomato coulis, and the beef carpaccio with arugula, truffle espuma, shaved parmesan, and roasted artichokes. Both were excellent. Our entrees included the lobster ravioli for my daughter, fettuccine with lobster and shrimp for my wife and I had a grilled yellow fin tuna on the fresh catch menu. Again, all were well prepared and excellent. Of course, the pasta is made on site and the ingredients were fresh and very tasty. We shared the warm apple strudel with caramel sauce and ice cream for our dessert and it was very good. All in all, I think this is one of the best meals we had on the island. Like most of the better restaurants on Seven Mile Beach, it was not an inexpensive meal; but, we found it to be well worth the price.
