“Great day at Royal Palms!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 18, 2012

We spent the day here in September 2012 during our stop with Carnival Freedom. We had rented a cabana on the beach and some snorkel equipment. The staff was very accommodating, beach was incredible, great food, and the snorkeling was so much fun for my family. i'd definitely return to royal Palms in the future.

“Amazing beach and views, but restaurant lacking.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 15, 2012

We visited here for lunch and a little beach time after doing an excursion to Stingray City and left feeling a little dissapointed. We ordered a burger and pizza and while the pizza was good, the burger and cold fries were mediocre at best. We also had three drinks and our bill totaled $50+. I realize Grand Cayman is expensive but I do expect to get what I pay for and feel you do not get that here.

The server was great and you can't beat the views while dining on the patio. Seven Mile beach is amazing as well. I would visit Royal Palms again for the beach, but not the food.

“Great view and food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 10, 2012

Be sure to include Royal Palms in your plans while at Grand Cayman! It is a wonderful place to view the sunset and the food was delicious. Our family chose 4 different entrees: scallops, shrimp and pasta, pizza, and tuna burger.....all were reported as superb! Live band music was fun. We only went there for dinner, but I understand it is a great place to reserve a cabana and/or beach chairs for the day. I understand that lots of cruise ship passengers enjoy their day here.....sounds fun! But if the idea of crowds bothers you, head to Royal Palms after the crowds leave and enjoy your dinner with a fabulous sunset view! Tell George the Emanuels recommend his place! We had excellent service and hope to return one day!

“Awesome!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 9, 2012

My husband and I and another couple went here for a day off a cruise ship in September 2012 and it was amazing! It was only $2.00 per person to gain entry. From there you could decide if you would like to head to the beach and either lay down your towel or rent a beach chair, or find a place by the pool. The pool was really nice, with beautiful cabanas all around it. We decided to hang out here for most of the day. Their drink service was excellent (I can't remember our server's name but she was originally from Canada and did a great job). The drink menu was GREAT and the food was also good (typical sandwich type fare). The food and drinks on Grand Cayman are generally expensive, but it was a great day, in a beautiful location, and I would highly recommend it.

Went here last Saturday night and the following day for lunch. On Saturday night they have a band playing people was up dancing it was a great atmosphere we had frozen cocktails a bit expensive but good quality. For lunch we both had burgers I had chicken and my boyfriend had pulled pork. Both really nice. Great service on both occasions. Good place to chill out and of course the beach Amazing!
