Our family of four recently stayed at the Grand Cayman Beach Suites and ate at Hemingways twice, once for dinner, and again for Saturday brunch. The dinner was very elegant and the food and service were top notch. They let us in early since our children were hungry. We had reservations for 6:00, but showed up at about 5:40. The service was good, but maybe a bit slow. The food was above average, but not spectacular. I had a fish dish over a risotto, which was very good. My wife had a mixed seafood grill, which she reported to be good. The kids each had a kids meal that they liked, and since we were staying at the hotel, the kids ate free. The Saturday brunch was also good. They had a great spread of fruit, breads, meats, cheeses, and you could order omelets, pancakes, french toast, etc. It was a nice buffet with good quality food. No complaints, definitely a 4-star meal, but not quite a 5 star fine dining meal.
