We had lunch at Calico Jack's and really enjoyed being so close to the beach. The tables are very well shaded and placed directly on the beach so it's fun to kick off your shoes and enjoy the sand. We had the jerk chicken which was very delicious and came with excellent fries. We also had a hurricane which was great. The service was lay back so not always the most attentive, but when a need was expressed, they were quick to attend to it. Overall, the staff attitudes were very pleasant.

We recently ate at Calico Jack's. It is literally right on the beach and is a great place to watch the sunset as another reviewer noted. The food is average - what you would expect at most bars, but the atmosphere was fun and it was a great place to have drinks while watching the sunset. Very casual. You can actually go in your swimsuit if you want.

Calico Jack's on West Bay Road on the way to West Bay is the best bar on Grand Cayman. So laid back. It's right on the water, has great outdoor atmosphere, super drinks and is just overall a really fun environment. They host a full moon party every month. We almost made it in time in mid December - we heard 500 people were there! Reno, a local musician hosts a open mic jam session weekly. We spent lots of time at this picturesque little open air bar with picnic tables under tents and the water just a few yards away. Heaven on earth, and with live music too!

Very good cheeseburgers and rum drinks on a perfect part of 7 Mile Beach. They have a raging party on New Years Eve as well...

Calico Jacks is right on Seven Mile Beach and a great place to have a cocktail and watch the sunset. It seemed like a local hangout with a lively crowd the night we stopped in. We walked on the beach from the Westin to get there and while it is a fairly long walk, the ocean view along the way can't be beat. The service wasn't the best and the only food we had was mozeralla sticks.
