“Average bar food on the beach”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 31, 2012

We walked to Calico Jacks from our condo on 7mile beach for lunch, it was pretty much as expected, simple bar food, very busy with cruise ship passengers due to proximity to the public beach. Not bad but not cheap either, still spent $40US plus tip for one drink each and lunch. At least there is a great view.

“Great for lunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 31, 2012

Right on the beach, grab a bucket of Caybrew Light for 20 USD,Jerk Chicken, the best onion ring in town...the fish superb, spicy Mahi Mahi was my favourite. For me go for a quiet lunch when the cruise ships are elsewhere, unless you fancy a slightly busier beach bar!,

Music great too what more can you wish for

“Loved it!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 30, 2012 via mobile

Loved visiting with "Calico Jack" what a friendly guy! Great food and super location. Yes it's a little pricey ($26 US for an order of chicken strips, fries, one beer and one frozen drink) but with that view he can charge whatever he wants! I'd go back in a heartbeat!

“Good experience”

Really good salads, some of the best on the island. Great people watching, cruise ship population mostly. Right on the beech nd very Cafe del Mare.

“Just a beach bar”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 12, 2012

Calico Jack's has a sign on the beach offering a bucket of beers for C$20. That caught our thirsty eyes and we grabbed a table. The beer was in full size bottles and was cold. The food we ordered was fried calamari and conch fritters. Both went well with the beer and the service was slow, but friendly.
