“Yummy tapas”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

Wanted something lighter for dinner so decided to get tapas. We sat outside and it was really lovely, wouldn't suggest this if Mosquitos bother you - my sister was bitten about 15 times even with the provided bug spray they offered. We order margaritas - I got original and she got the scotch bonnet one. It was fabulous. Really worth trying if you like spicy. For dinner we had the philli cheese steak spring rolls - to die for, very unique and different. Tuna sashimi with wasabi that was really good and the conch fritters. They were my least favorite, but I don't care for nutmeg in my food. But they were good just not great for me. My sister did love them though. Overall we were very pleased with our meal and were happy we chose this restaurant.

“Beautiful setting”
Reviewed April 17, 2013

Set in beautiful Camana Bay, this restaurant offers great views in an attractive outdoor setting. We enjoyed the food and ambience although there are better restaurants in the area. It was a nice place to relax and the enjoy the surroundings.

“little plates”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

If little plates are your thing then make sure you get to Karoo - we were served by Amber who knew her menu, her wines and remained attentive and upbeat throughout a busy cover. Things to try - conch fritters and fish tacos... divine!

“Wonderful food and atmosphere”
Reviewed March 23, 2013

We visited Cayman last June and whille we were on a bus going to Stingray city we were talking to a family who had dined at Karoo the evening before, they highly recommended it to us. We didn't know what to expect and it by far exceeded any expectations we had.
We dressed up and took a taxi there to spend the evening. We were seated outside and had the most wonderful dinner of our trip. Our waiter was from Saskatchewan Canada and was very helpful, I did tell him I envied him and his living in such a paradise. He made our evening out so much better with his commendable service.
We had a platter of different tapas, fries, flatbread pizza a few other things which I can't remember but I do remember everything tasted so good and we are everything up. The drinks were impecable, nice and refreshing for a warm night.
My friends daughter was looking forward to playing in the fountain, if you have small children pack up a swim suit and a towel, they will have so much fun while you dine and relax.
I am looking forward to returning this June and going back here for dinner.
