“Great Rum Punch”
Reviewed February 26, 2013

We were here last week....booked through carnival cruise....The rum punch was great! the beach was very clean and beautiful. Part of our package was a buffet - the jerk chicken was very good.

There were iguanas running freely but they were very scared up people - like they should be, but I did feed some of them bread.

Sitting on deck was for a la cart purchases only.

We were provided with lounge chairs paid $10 extra for umbrella....did some snorkeling right at the beach area it wasn't the prettiest reef but it was neat to see the fish....

Would go back and visit again

“Absolute CRAP, and you can find some on the beach, Not the absolute”
Reviewed February 17, 2013

We were sold this excursion by Celebrity Cruises. They shouldn't be allowing this rip off.
We took the excursions bus the the beach. The beach was filthy, including dog poop. The provided beach chairs are in a state of disrepair. It cost us $45 each and on top of this fee we had to pay $10 for an umbrella. Yes they have a beach. Although it's not much of one. You can go into the water for maybe 15feet when you'll start encountering sharp rocks that you can't get past, plus there is plenty of garbage in the water. Considering you can see very well in this water collecting the debris shouldn't be to much trouble. Just a couple minutes towards the cruise terminal is a free public beach, plus many more around the island. Use the Grand Cayman bus service, Van's with BLUE license plates. We left this horrible beach, got on a bus and toured for a couple bus fares. The driver was very friendly and there are plenty of these buses when the ships are in. We didn't take a chance on the food.

“Great Service!”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

We dined twice at Tiki Beach when we were in Cayman over the holidays. Our first visit was nothing to write home about. Decent service and good food. A couple days after our visit to Tiki Beach, we realized that we had been double charged when we were there. We called and spoke with the manager who was very apologetic. He refunded the charge AND insisted that we come in for a meal on the house. We spent our last evening in Cayman back at Tiki Beach. We had fantastic service and the food was incredible. I'm so glad that we went back. Next time we are in Grand Cayman, we will definitely make a trip to Tiki Beach!

“good place for drinks”
Reviewed January 14, 2013

We stopped at the Tiki Bar for drinks and they were ginormous! I had a mojito and I could even finish the second one b/c it was so strong. They were pricey, but they don't skimp on the alcohol. They beach is nice with lots of lounge chairs and free WiFi and music. They beach is quite touristy we saw lots of buses stopping here letting people off. They have great bathroom and showers.

“Went for beach only - - expensive”
Reviewed January 10, 2013

We were in Grand Cayman just for part of a day from a cruise ship. We wanted to go to Seven Mile Beach and do some snorkeling. A friend who spends a lot of time in the Caymans recommended Tiki Beach. We took a cab ($5/person, van filled with about 20 people) to the Seven Mile Beach area. The cab driver said that he did not recommend Tiki Beach because they charge $25 to get in vs. cheaper options at the public beach. Well, we went to Tiki Beach anyway (it is only like two blocks from the public beach stop) and paid the $25 per person. This got you a lounge chair (no umbrella), a welcome drink (rum punch was good but small cup), and use of the restroom (which was indeed very clean). Not a great value, but the place was okay. There were some trees with shade, so one daughter spent part of the day in a lounge chair in the shade. Use the welcome drink tickets on the alcoholic drinks and buy your kid a non-alcoholic drink.

The water is very rocky, so not a great place if you want to frolick in the water. Two of us did rent snorkeling gear and the reef is very close. Of course, you could get to this same reef area from the public beach.

Bottom line - - it is the Caymans and it is all beautiful. Not sure there is a big advantage to coming here vs. other Seven Mile Beach stops. Probably nicer bathrooms, a little shade, and more attractive looking bar / restaurant.
