“Best excursion ever!”
Reviewed November 9, 2013 via mobile

We went with the kids (7 & 9) and we all had a great time. The entire crew was friendly and accommodating. Their boat took us out to sea and gave us a lot if educational and insightful information about the sting rays. Bert was the sting ray whisperer and made sure we were having a good time. This excursion was a lite cheaper than the other sting ray excursion, but we had a wonderful experience so I am glad we chose this excursion over the others. It was the perfect amount of time from getting there to our return it took about three hours. We kissed the sting rays for Good luck. The crew was great about pictures. We will do it again next time we are in Grand Cayman.

“Deluxe Stingray Sandbar Adventure”
Reviewed November 8, 2013

This was our first time in the Caymans and it was suggested we needed to swim with the stingrays. We booked the Deluxe Stingray Sandbar adventure through Carnival Cruise Lines. This cruise was AMAZING! Bert "Stingray Whisperer" was so hands on. Made sure he was giving fun facts and information regarding the rays we were kissing (it's good luck), swimming with and handling. They brought us out to the sandbar in a new 2 decker boat. The water was a bit rough due to the storm out at sea, however, the crew made sure that everyone was safe, comfortable and needed anything at all. Each crew member introduced themselves on the boat, asked if we wanted anything to eat or drink, a snorkel vest. You can use their snorkel equipment, too. We can't say enough good things about this crew and company. They were professional, fun and we can't wait to do it again!

“Great Experience with the Stingray Excursion”
Reviewed November 4, 2013

I booked a stingray excursion through Carnival, not really sure what to expect, since I'd never been on a cruise or any excursions, and was nervous about being that close to what looked like rather large animals in the pictures online. But I figured, "ah well, it's probably just overhyping, no big deal".

No really, you get full interaction with these puppies. And they ARE as huge as they appear in the pictures.

The crew was fantastic, being thorough but still fun while explaining everything we needed to know before getting in the water. Beverages were provided on the boat for average prices, along with bathroom facilities. The water was clear blue (and fairly warm) going out, and once they got the chum-bucket out, the place was swarming with stingrays. One of the crew calmed down a fellow passenger who was having anxiety about the stingrays being so close, and by the end she was petting them with the rest of us. They showed us how to pet them, hold them, feed them, and kiss them (7 years good luck!), all of which I got to do once I got my courage up.

It was a great experience. I would recommend this for everybody.

“Great Excursion in Grand Cayman”
Reviewed November 4, 2013

I sailed on Carnival Magic and booked my swim with the stingrays excursion and it was with Marineland Private tours in Grand Cayman. this was my second time to do this tour with them--the first time was in August with my granddaughter. We thoroughly enjoyed it! The guides were excellent, caring and took really good care of everyone. Those that were scared and wanted to go back on the boat, they helped and got them back. The ease of getting off the boat was great as they have a platform on the back of the boat that made it easy to step into the water. I highly recommend this excursion in Grand Cayman... ALSO they cater to wheelchair clients.
