Ezona is a great captain. Very knowledgeable and considerate. She does what you want when you are ready. Never felt rushed.

“Fantastic trip, totally worth the money”
Reviewed September 28, 2011

We recently chartered Captain Ezona and her first mate Stacey for a half day snorkeling, sting ray adventure. From the minute we arrived at Morgan’s Harbor – I knew we were in good hands. The boat was well stocked, plenty of water, fruit and punch. The day was ours – Capt. Ezona explained – so we decided to visit Sting Ray Bay first. Stacey hopped right in the water and began teaching us about the rays and most importantly – how to hold them. After we’d had our fill (or so we thought) we popped over to the reef (a short five minute boat ride) and Stacey took us on a guided tour of the reef. He even convinced a moray eel to come out of the hidey hole and say hello. Once we’d snorkeled a bit we decided to go back to the bay and play with the rays some more. Ezona was happy to do whatever we wanted. I know chartering a boat is a pricey option but it was absolutely, 100% worth every penny. I’ll never do a group snorkel tour again!! Book her!

“Best trip ever to Stingray City! Best offshore fishing - over 25 fish!”
Reviewed August 22, 2011

Ezona knows the island like no one else! We had an awesome trip to Stingray City on a private charter with her that our 9 year-old grandson described as the "best time of his life"! We stopped to snorkel first at a beautiful reef, then continued to Stingray City, where Ezona held the stingrays for us and allowed us to interact with them as long as we liked. The grandchildren held the stingrays as well, found conch shells, and on our return Ezona stopped to dive for starfish that we took quick pictures of with our grandchildren. It was a once in a lifetime experience for our family that is memorialized in the awesome photos we took. We also booked a private offshore fishing charter with her that was amazing! We caught over ten bonefish and over ten red snappers. The bonefish are a great fighting fish on light tackle. We will definitely book future charters with her!

“A Must-Do in Grand Cayman!”
Reviewed August 22, 2011

We chartered a day trip with Miss Ezona and Stacy during our first trip to Grand Cayman this last week. It was the highlight of our trip! We fished, snorkeled, visited Stingray Sandbar and lunched at Kaibo. They are so accommodating and friendly and can cater to your group's different needs. They helped all of us learn a little more about life in GC and on the water.
The boat is large with room for everyone to be comfortable. We had a few different age groups and some 'city' kids with us but we all had opportunity to relax and have a blast. The GC beaches are gorgeous but to truly grasp what a paradise this island is, charter with Miss Ezona and head out to a little deeper waters. You will be amazed at the beauty and aquatic life around this island...Our entire family recommends this charter service and Miss Ezone and Stacy! (Hint: If you leave for an early morning charter, bring a couple of snacks, granola, etc with you for hunger before lunchtime!)

“Most memorable part of our trip!”
Reviewed August 1, 2011

Traveling for our destination wedding, we booked three charters through Ezona's Aquatics. The groomsmen went reef fishing the morning of the wedding. They only caught about 12 fish worth keeping, which they cooked the follwing evening, but they had a great time and couldn't say enough about the conversations they had with Ezona and Stacey. Stacey even hooked a lobster for them by hand, which they enjoyed on the boat.

The second charter was for 20 of our wedding guests. We snorkeled at the Great Barrier Reef, which offered some amazing sites but was a bit deep for a few guests. We then visited Stingray City, which was truly memorable and brought a lot of laughs and great pictures. Finally, we stopped at Kaibo, where we refueled with grouper sandwiches and island daquiris.

Since everyone had so much fun on the first two trips, the guys decided to book a third and tried out marlin fishing. They had no luck but returned home with lobsters to cook!

We felt like we were in good hands on all trips, and Ezona was kind, personable, and knowledgable.

As a criticism, we had some miscommunications regarding our bookings. First, when the guys showed up for fishing, there was about a 30-minute delay because we had been written down as starting at 9 rather than 8. For the snorkeling charter, I had booked a full day, which was supposed to include two snorkeling stops; and I was confused when we rolled back into the dock 90 minutes earlier than scheduled. Again, what ended up on the calendar did not match what I had in my emails and notes from telephone conversations. This did not seem to be Ezona's fault but rather the fault of whomever handles her bookings, and she was extremely apologetic about the confusion and changed our cost from the full to half day price without hassle. Despite those mixups, this is who you want if booking a private charter. They give it a personal touch that makes the trip so memorable...just call and confirm plans and times 24-48 hours in advance to avoid surprises.
