I was on a cruse the third week in January 2006 that stopped in Grand Cayman. This Fort is not the normal tourist stop. Locals don't seem to go there either. It is surrounded by new construction. Apparently, the original walls were torn down by a developer. Still, it is an interesting place with some interesting artifacts (including a picture of the old walls)and deserves better. I am including some pictures. When you get off the boat, turn left and ignore the shops. It is not far. Spend some time and soak up some history! I took the pictures with a digital camera.
