“Longtime favorite in Georgetown Grand Cayman”
Reviewed September 9, 2012

This is a casual restaurant upstairs of a dive center right in Georgetown Grand Cayman. Situated right on the water this venue has windows that open with ocean front views and a great seafood menu.

The prices are not cheap and honestly you can spend the same and have a more elegant evening at The Warf just a bit further up towards Seven Mile Beach but I always make a night at the Lobster Pot part of my Cayman visits.

I usually start with the Conch Chowder and then splurge for "The Pot" or the "Cayman Trio" but you'll find many choices that will work for you.

While some other places may be more formal I always walk out of the Lobster Pot feeling like a friend and for a night overlooking the water at sunset enjoying good food with friends that will keep bringing me back!

“Can't wait of for it to reopen”
Reviewed July 29, 2012 via mobile

This has been one of our favorite restaurants every time we've come here. So sad to hear about the fire last December, but excited about what the remodeling is to look like. Sounds like they'll be back better than ever this fall.

Though weve taken our daughters there before it isn't a place that caters to a family crowd with very small chuldren. Our girls were older when we took them there. Last year, for our anniversary trip, the staff from our hotel, Grand Cayman Marriott, made reservations for us and we were surprised when the staff had a couple of anniversary surprises for us during our meal. It was an incredible experience and a very romantic dinner for the two of us. Huge thanks to their staff for making it special.

“One of Our Favorites on the Island”
Reviewed July 13, 2012

My wife and I go to the Caymans once or twice a year for a dive trip. This is one of the places that is on our list of places to go back to each time. Great food, great service, great view and wonderful atmosphere. You would never pick this place out on your own. It is over a dive shop and we passed it up for years. However it is on our list of first things to do when we get on the island - go to Lobster Pot and have a Conch Salad. Call for reservations and ask to sit by a waterfront window.

“Closed for remodeling”
Reviewed May 29, 2012 via mobile

I was very excited to eat here, unfortunately it is closed for remodeling. I asked some of the workers when it would be reopening and they didn't know. I've heard good things about the restaurant from friends who go there each time they vacation in the caymans. Next time :(
