Our visit to Cayman is not complete without a stop at our favorite restaurant, the Brasserie! Elegant but not snooty, complex flavors but excellent presentation, and lots of local flavors and love make this restaurant a required stop. We had the "fish wings" as an appetizer--excellent snapper lightly breaded and fried with a smoky salsa. Thursday is taco night, so we enjoyed wahoo and steak tacos along with 1/2 price selected bottles of wine. Our son chose the mussels with an order of fries as his main course, and he cleaned the plate. The service was very good and consistent--this is a classy restaurant with no snootiness!

Very good fresh fish. Eclectic place with own garden. Great service. Will definitely return. Expensive but similar to most restaurants on GC

Although we have been to GC many times this was our first time to The Brasserie. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and the Market for lunch. Both experiences were great. Dean Max is an institution on the island. He has his own organic garden; his own fishing boat and his own chicken coop. Wow! The food was wonderfully prepared and we can't wait to return next year.
