“Great view”
Reviewed June 29, 2014 via mobile

We had mixed food experiences here, all in one visit!!
Samosas were some of the best we have ever had, jerk chicken sandwich (special for the day) was amazing, fish and chips were average at best, pulled pork sandwich was good. The cocktails and ice cold draft Caybrew were great!!
Don't try and eat here on a day when the cruise ships are in - our waitress told us we would never have got a table even at 3pm! Same for the view, the ship/s would have blocked out most of the view from Breezes (we sat inside, not sure how it would look from outside)
Not the greatest of atmospheres but it was very quiet when we were there! I would still recommend eating here even though we were luke warm on the fish and chips, we should have made a better choice!

“Happy hour”
Reviewed June 27, 2014 via mobile

Went in for happy hour during be week. Cheap drinks can't be beat on this island. Happy hour was from 3-7 on the sign on the front door. At 5 pm the bartender to us we had to close our tabs because that had a "function" that night. Nothing was said or indicated that night that they were shutting down early. On top of that, the bartender took forever to take my cash after demanding we leave. Hard to beat $3 beers on CI, so I would go back for them and not much else.

“One of the best sandwiches I've ever had...”
Reviewed June 15, 2014

The Classic Caribbean Club Sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The menu describes it as "Tender Grilled Chicken, Smoked Bacon, Crisp Lettuce & Tomato, Chef's Jerk Mayo & a Fried Egg between Breezes' own House Made Honey Whole Wheat Bread." If that sounds good to you (and it did to me) it tastes even better. The view is great and they offer indoor or outdoor seating in the multi-level building. We were afraid it would be too touristy, but we really enjoyed the food here. We inquired with a BBQ place a little farther up the road and not only were they expensive for what you got but they didn't have half the ambiance that Breezes had. We're glad we gave it a try.

“Extremely Disappointed”
Reviewed June 14, 2014

Let's start with the best thing about this place. The view was amazing from the second floor. Now let’s go into the food/beverage part of Breezes. We order a pizza and it was close to a frozen box pizza. The alcoholic beverages were very weak and to say that all of this was very much overpriced. We paid about 75 bucks for a pizza and two drinks! Believe me when I tell you, it's not worth it.

“Yummy Rum Drinks with Great Oceanviews”
Reviewed June 11, 2014

We sat on the outside covered porch overlooking the ocean. Even after it started pouring, we were overall protected.

The names and descriptions of the drinks at Breezes were quite creative. One member of our group ordered the Category 4 Hurricane, with the following description: "Increasing wind & storm conditions. Both Light Rhum & Amaretto over ice, Orange & Pineapple juices. Then topped with extra Blackbeard's Dark Rhum." Two of us ordered The Category 5 Hurricane, which was described as having "wind speeds above 155 mph, even 'Hurricane Chasers' run for cover. All above conditions apply . . . but the float jumped up to Bacardi 151!" I ordered the Dark & Stormy Mojito that was described as "Gosling's Black Seal Rhum muddled with fresh mint leaves & lime wedges then poured tall with Sweet & sour Mix, ice & ginger ale." Another person ordered a rum flight to try the different types of rum. My favorite of the drinks we ordered was the Category 4 Hurricane. It was tropical, fresh and delicious.

All of our meals were delicious. I ordered blackened snapper that came with the most delicious assortment of vegetables. The vegetables were fresh and absolute perfection.

It was a wonderful spot to have a delicious meal with a view of the ocean.
